Ever since I got my Blackberry, I was itching to get the whole data plan and perks that come along with owning a Blackberry. So maybe a few weeks ago, I finally did it, and the first thing I did was download the GPS software or Google Maps.

The awesome thing about Google Maps, it has this thing called Google Latitude which pretty much is the coolest thing I think about the whole GPS thingy. For those who don’t know, if your friends own a device with Google Maps/Latitude and have a Gmail account, you can pretty much see where the ‘eff they are and it’s updated quite frequently. I’m not 100% sure, but I think it even moves in real time, maybe not as good as the Rogers commercial shows, but pretty good enough.

Technology is crazyyyyy.

And if you’re worried about being stalked, then just turn the damn thing off, easyyy peezyy.

Right now I only have a handful of people with it, but I hope in a few years most of my friends will be walkin around with it so I can just flick on Google Maps and see whats up, and use the other feature to link up to get some food or drinks.

So if you own a device with GPS and a data plan, sign your self up with Gmail and get right on itt.
