cash rules everything around me.
alright so I’ve been making some pretty good money on the days I do work. $15 to $20 cash an hour, not bad right? Today I helped this guy build his deck, bammm.. $200 that day. A few weeks ago, helped a woman demolish and prep her kitchen for renovation, another $200 that day. But why the eff can’t I account for the spending? I’ve kept track of my hours and the payouts each day, but still I can’t figure out where most of it goes. Sure I’ve been paying my own rent and stuff, but that’s only $400. Could I of really spent hundreds of dollar on regular everyday spending, and the nights of getting bubble tea (screw that, strawberry smoothies!) at 1am. Couldn’t be.
But I must say, it feels nice not having to worry about running out of money. I haven’t purchased any clothes in the last 5 months (which is an accomplishment for me) cause I either don’t have time to hit up malls, since I’m usually off work around 5 or so, or I’m just too damn tired to. Good stuff. I wish I had this going on earlier, but nope, things had to look up at the end of summer. The universe didn’t want me making this much for four months.
If it didn’t rain every other effin’ day of the week, conditions would be great for what I do (which is mostly outdoor work) and I would have that brand new computer and flat screen sitting in my room, but noooo. The planet likes crying, and I’m getting darker and darker everyday.
So to sum it up, I love money, its’ feel good.
